There will be extra runs on some public transport routes on the Dead Remembrance Day

On November 23, the Dead Remembrance Day, additional public transport and larger capacity vehicles will be running on some routes at the time of the biggest passenger flow to ensure comfortable delivery of passengers to Riga cemeteries.

There will be extra runs on tram route No. 11 and on trolleybus route No. 24, as well as on bus routes No. 11, 19, 20, 29, 36, 37, 39 and 48.

Trams on route No.11 will run according to a temporary schedule, with 4-5 minute interval at the time of the maximum passenger flow. There will be also extra runs on bus routes No. 11, 19, 20, 29, 36, 37, 39 and 48, as well as on trolleybus route No. 24 along with regular runs.

From 9:00 till 18:00 all buses running on routes 11, 19, 29 will go to Jaunciems cemetery.

For passengers’ comfort, vehicles of larger capacity will be running on bus routes No. 9, 11, 12, 13, 19, 20, 29, 36, 37, 48, 52 and 56, as well as on trolleybus route No. 19.
